TitanSol and Dietas Cormillot

TitanSol is a content agency that works providing graphic solutions to different clients. I had the opportunity to start my professional career with them, going through different projects. I was able to design ads, videos, code a bit for web design (HTML, CSS + Bootstrap) and (my favorite) work with UI design for Dietas Cormillot, using my knowledge gained thanks to the Coderhouse course :)

Dietas Cormillot was the client I have worked with the most. This argentinian famous company include:

Nutricional plans service,
Monthly lunch packs,
Nutrition and Health Consulting,
Virtual Yoga, Gym and related courses.

So, I worked there making templates for their social networks (mostly for Instagram), Image and video Ads, organizing newsletters and, most important, redesigning the UI of their websites.

Abandoned web design and staffing issues

When I arrived at DC, there was only 1 person in charge of each design and each marketing project, which means an unhealthy pace of work at a certain point.
Since this person started moving to the marketing field, they called me to be in charge of the design.

We were going through the pandemic era, so it was time for the company to start taking care of their web services (how clear is the information? how comfortable is to use it?).

The initial design had a lot of information everywhere, without a good visual hierarchy.
Aesthetic looked very old and "abandoned".
Most of its users were over 40-50 years old at that time, so there was a significant barrier in terms of the use of the websites.
Their social media needed some impact and to be organized, so they would be able to invite younger people as well.

OLD NUTRICIONAL PLAN DESIGN

Starting with little changes

My first project with the company was to work on their social networks.
They had a young CM who was starting out as a pro and was in charge of the content. What they needed was an organized feed for Instagram, with a solid design made with PSD templates (where the CM could put news, information, and user stories). In this way, they would have some of the work "automated" and save a lot of time.

After this first step, my daily work was about making little images and video ads, with information about plans discounts, new lunch recipes, special editions, etc. They also sent me some articles with information to add in a Newsletter platform called Icomm.

Websites: Desktop & Mobile

I'm going to share some screens of the websites and the user dashboard!
To be honest, I don't have much "process" to share in this case.
I couldn't do much UX research because the way the company worked at that time wasn't very focused on the user perspective (at least in terms of design). Instead, they worked mostly with quantitative and marketing research, so I didn't have the chance to contact real users of the service. The feedback I received came from the marketing team and lead.
Besides that, I'm very happy with this experience, it helped me to know a lot about Adobe XD at that time, and to have it as a daily tool, sometimes even against the clock :)
